Shootings:
1982 – Hawthorne, CA. I was
involved in a fatal shooting of an (in progress) armed
robbery suspect. The suspect was a male Philippino
transsexual who was committing armed robberies to raise
money for a sex change operation. I fired six rounds when
the suspect pointed his gun at me, while fleeing the robbery
scene on foot. The only time he dressed as a man was during
the commission of the robberies, approximately three per
week.
1996 –
Wildomar, CA. I was in a running gunfight with a gang member
driving a stolen vehicle and in possession of a large amount
of narcotics. He was armed with a sawed off rifle and under
the influence of methanphetamine.
2001 –
Murrieta, CA. I was shot by a Vietnamese gang member at
close range (6 ft.) during a running gunfight while in the
commission of a thwarted home invasion robbery. During the
gunfight the suspect was struck 7 times and I was shot once
in the right leg.
